This came in on the email today, 12 March, 10. Please take note. "Plans for the" All Class" Reunion picnic are well along. As you will recall, the event will be held on Friday, September 24th, at Swiss Park in south Chula Vista. This is an excellent venue for this kind of gathering. The formal events will take place from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm. The cost per person is $30. The final mailing announcing this event, and asking for a firm committment, in the form of payment, is to be made by our committee prior to July 24th. I am hoping that all or most of you will be available for a working BBQ at our home on Thursday, July 15th in the late afternoon. Please let me know if this date works for you ASAP. The $2500. donation to the band program of CVHS, approved by this committee, was made by Jay Dalseth late last year. The money is going to be used for a new sound system that is desperately needed for all phases of band activities. The band director has confirmed receipt of the money and it is being held while the new band room is being completed and bids for installation of the system are received, reviewed, and approved." Mike and Jean Kelly The Committee did a grand job of the 50th Reunion. It was a great success. Even the food was good! I hope all who enjoyed it appreciate the amount of work it takes to put on something like that. What a pleasure, and what a great group of people. We have seasoned well. Speaking of seasoning well, this is the year that many of us pass the big 70! If ya' gotta' do it, might as well do it in northern New Mexico: ![]() Just east of Tierra Amarilla ![]() North of Regina ![]() Highway 126, east of Cuba It was a great run, the 74 International ran like a clock, weather was great, fishing was terrible. I do want to warn everybody that our CV58 website here is rather fragmented, not always up to date and not up to much of any design standards. It is a happy melange freebie that I work on occasionally, and which has no relationship to our professional work. As to professional work though, if you have any reason to be up on the Web, be it personal or related to your business, please let me know. Our professional Website Design website is at www.PremierSystems.Com. If you have interest in the Web, maybe we can help. Just for fun, I have added a page I call Rude, Rough Fun at rude, rough fun.html. It has a bit of poetry, ravings and rantings and may accumulate a bit of everything. Don't enter without a bit of an open mind and a decent sense of humor. Whatever though, let's see what we can do with CV58. Our 60th Reunion approaches, BYOB. Also, be sure to go by the webconnect page and let me know if you know any addresses I do not have. Bruce Moffitt |
